Flora C. Duduit, 94, formerly of Waverly, Ohio more recently of Clarksburg, Ohio died 1:00 A.M. Sunday 15 September 2013 at her home. She was born 29 October 1918 in Rexton, Kentucky the daughter of the late John Henry Casebolt and Pina Mae (Johnson Casebolt. On 9 July 1942 she was united in marriage to John Edward Duduit who preceded her in death in 1977. Surviving are two sons, Paul Edward Duduit and wife Pat of Dallas, Texas and Timothy Jay Duduit and wife Mary Ann of San Antonia, Texas, three daughters, Kathy D. Wood and husband Roger of Clarksburg, Ohio, Sue Ellen Howell and husband Gary of West Portsmouth, Ohio and Becky Kay Duduit of Bremerton, Washington, Ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren four brothers, Kenas Casebolt and wife Ruth, Columbus, Ohio, Lon Casebolt and wife Laura of Cleveland, Ohio, Paul Casebolt and wife Ginny of Pomeroy, Ohio and Lawrence Casebolt and wife Mary Ann of Dauphin Island, Alabama and two sisters, Pina Maynard of Raleigh, North Carolina and Ruth Hite of Columbus, Ohio. In addition to her parents and husband, three brothers, Fon, Hiram and Johnny Casebolt and two sisters Bessie and June Elam preceded Flora in death. She was born March 23, 1932 in Massieville, Ohio, daughter of the late William Luther Daniel and Margueritte Bailey Daniel. Norma Jean was preceded by her husband Donald W. Mossbarger on December 13, 1984. Surviving is a daughter, Patricia Smith of Waverly, two sons, Thomas Mossbarger of Waverly, Roger Mossbarger and wife Sharon of Cape Coral, Florida; 8 grandchildren, David (Miranda) Smith, Tommy (Betsy) Mossbarger, Victoria (Mike) Brown, Angelia (Mike) Hicks, Virginia (Allen) Stewart, Stephanie Detty, Roger Mossbarger, Jr., Janet Rinehart; 11 great grandchildren, Kennetha Delveaux, Blain Brown, Dylan and Tyler Smith, Brittany and Brooklyn Brown, John Thomas and Donna Hicks, and Caleb Mossbarger, Peyton Rinehart and Christian Rinehart; two great great grandchildren, McKenna Brown and Zoey Rinehart, and a brother, David Daniel of Groveport, Ohio, who she always called her baby brother. In addition to her parents and husband, three grandchildren, Tammy and Earl Mossbarger and Brian Smith, two great grandchildren, Lauramee and Christina Rinehart, a son-in-law, Ronald W. Smith; four sisters, Jeanette Brofft, Irene Arrowood, Ann Penwell and Ruth Ross, and two brothers, Perry and Richard Daniel preceded Norma Jean in death. Norma was a self-employed caregiver. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with Rev. Walter Rider, officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Piketon. She was born to the late Ray and Madge (Roby) Compton on July 25, 1930 in Upshur County, West Virginia. Preceded in death by husbands, Glenn Richard Woody, Richard O. Winters and Clinford Jackson Rexroad, infant son, Glenn Richard Woody, Jr., daughter, Della Marie Woody Wireman and sister, Glenna Jean Heater. She is survived by daughters, Donna (F. Christian, deceased) Latta and Sandra (Byron) Brandt and son-in-law Darrell Wireman; her stepchildren, David R. Winters, Deborah G. Winters Ireland, Gary C. Winters and Donald A. Winters and her sisters, Pauline Koonce, Lena Eskew and Silvia Crites. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. There were no strangers to Mary and she made friends everywhere she went. She was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be missed by all. She was born May 17, 1930 in Piketon, daughter of the late Charles Franklin Carson and Eva Pearl Slagle Carson. Surviving is a son, John Ferguson of Piketon, two daughters, Diane Baker, Debra Baker and husband Eldon both of Chillicothe, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jason Baker and wife Abbea, Jennifer Sams and husband Scott, Amy Nolan and husband Lee, Eric Baker and wife Kisha, Evan Ferguson; six great grandchildren, Madison, Matthew and Allie Baker, Payton Sams, Bentley and Kylee Baker; a brother, John Carson of Piketon, and a sister, Jo Ellen Mullins of Piketon. In addition to her parents, two brothers, Ronald and Dale Carson, and a sister, Janet Anderson preceded Martha in death. Martha was a retired waitress for Schmitts Dairy Bar in Waverly and had attended the former Piketon Church of Christ in Christian Union. She was born July 3, 1933 in Portsmouth, Ohio, daughter of the late Otis Rickards and Hazel Marie Dever Rickards. On April 28, 1951 Irene was united in marriage to Neary Henson who preceded her in death on February 2, 1979. Surviving are three sons, Roger L. Henson of Wellston, Ohio, Jeff A. Henson and wife Loretta of Arkansas, Wayne Henson and wife Candy of Columbus, Ohio, four daughters, Sharon Carver and husband Dale of Columbus, Kathy Brown and husband Donnie of Urbana, Pam Noreiga and Gail of Urbana, Debbie Maynard and husband Mitchell of Arkansas; 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a sister, Bessie Pfeifer and husband Clarence of Piketon, Ohio. In addition to her parents and husband, a daughter, Alberta Havens, daughter-in-law, Nola Henson and five brothers, Wayne, Wesley, Floyd, Clarence and Harold Rickards preceded Irene in death. Irene was retired from the Gayheart Nursing Home at Piketon, and was a member of Urbana Eagles Lodge #979 Ladies Auxiliary. He was born July 31, 1954 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Mabel Sutton Curtis of Waverly and the late William “Bill” Curtis. On April 5, 1991, Ron was united in marriage to Susan Eileen Proehl Curtis, who preceded him in death on September 20, 2004. In addition to his mother, Ron is survived by three sons, Ronald Lee Curtis and wife Shawna of Chillicothe, Ohio, Michael Allen Curtis of West Virginia, Adam Lloyd Curtis of Waverly; a daughter, Karen Eileen Curtis of West Virginia; 12 grandchildren, four brothers, Jerry Curtis and wife Ramona, John Curtis and wife Kathy, Randy Curtis and Christopher Curtis and wife Shelli all of Waverly, and one sister, Elizabeth Ann Curtis of Waverly. Ron was employed by the buckeye Cleaning Company in Columbus, Ohio and was a member of Waverly Baptist Temple. Anthony is loved and survived by his wife Anne Dorthe, his daughter Joanna Belle and step-sons, Erick and Marcus Concepcion. Anthony is also loved and survived by his parents Phillip and JoAnn (Whitt) Bentley, his siblings their spouses and children. Sister Rebekah and husband Joseph Mursencavage and their children Kaitlyn, Zachary, Melina, Isabella, and Erin. Sister Melissa and husband John Chalkias and son Phillip and wife Toni. Sister Lisa Dodson and daughter Jena. Sister Toni Jo Bentley and her children Joel, Joshua, Branden and Rachael and his brother John William Bentley and wife Monika and their children Derek and Kimberly and husband John. Best Friend and "brother" Bruce Beecraft and wife Sherry of Ft. Wayne, IN. Also surviving are a son, Roy Lee Leeth, Jr. and wife Tammy, and a daughter, Rachel Skaggs both of Waverly, 12 grandchildren, Stephanie Lynn Leeth, Tiffany Nikole Faulkner, Tarah E’Lane Sines, Whitney Leigh Perdue and husband Joseph, Travis James Groves and wife Deanna, Tabatha Danielle Osborn and husband Andrew, Tylor Isiah Groves, Cydnee Fallon Leeth, Heather Irene Leeth, Taven Briar Leeth, Montanna Kadence Leeth and Kristy Jo Maynard, nine great grandchildren, Brayden and Gavyn Sines, Kale and Jaxon Groves, Asher and Devin Perdue, Elijah and Samuel Faulkner and Chloe Osborn, brother, Gene Leeth of West Jefferson, Ohio and three sisters, Rhonda Meyer and husband Mike and Ellen Mosley both of Waverly and Barbara Ison and husband Karl of Latham, Ohio. In addition to his parents, three sisters, Geraldine Leeth, Helen Farmer and Janet Leeth and two grandchildren, Justin and William Leeth, preceded Roy in death. Roy was a retired sawmill laborer. She was born May 19, 1921 in Frankfort, Indiana, daughter of the late Garver Harlan Endsley and Mary Elsie (Hall) Endsley. On June 21, 1952, she was united in marriage to Robert A. Benefiel. Surviving are her children, Melinda A. Zorn and husband Ronald of Wexford, Pennsylvania, Michael E. Benefiel and wife Debra of Montgomery, Texas and Mark R. Benefiel and wife Teresa of Houston, Texas. Also surviving are granddaughters Whitney Zorn Adkins and Amber Witliff Reinbold, and brother David H. Endsley and wife Carol of Katy, Texas. In addition to her parents and husband, her sister AnnaBeth Bates preceded Betty in death. Betty was a member of Waverly First Presbyterian Church and its choir, and a member of Bristol Village Concert Chorale and Women’s Chorus. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. On August 27, 1954 she was united in marriage to Harry “Junior” Zimmerman who preceded her in death on March 3, 2012. Surviving are son, Randy Zimmerman and wife Becky of Waverly, three daughters, Sandy Barker and husband Jeff, Kathy Entler and husband Robert and Rhonda Zimmerman and Joe Webb all of Piketon, seven grandchildren, Hayley Zimmerman, Robbie Entler, Brent Barker, Chad Meadows, Kyle Webb, Angie Shiplett and Janice Cartee, two brothers, Tom Brownfield and wife Kathy and Ronald Brownfield and wife Sandy both of Piketon, 6 sisters, Wanda Crabtree and husband Bill, Doris Dyke, and Linda Murphy and husband Tim all of Waverly and Judy Harris and husband Tom, Donna Brodess and husband Jim and Janet Harris all of Piketon. Surviving are wife Phyllis (Crabtree) Sword of fifty-three years, two daughters, Cindra Goble and husband Larry and Karla Goble and husband Joe, three grandchildren, Gary, Jessica and Emma, four step-grandchildren, Andy, Brandy, Jason and Julie, two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Layna and eleven great step-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Judy Crabtree and husband Jim, Linda Myhand and husband Wes, Lola Tolliver, one brother Eddie Sword, several nieces and nephews and special friends of the family Connie and Dan Shelley. Mr. Sword served in the U.S. Army and was retired from construction surveying and Civil Engineering. She was born 24 November 1934 in Piketon, Ohio the daughter of the late George Emerson Leist and Mary Frances (Willson) Leist. On 28 December 1974 she was united in marriage to Leon W. Diehl, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mary Jane Kemmner and Robert Grimes of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Carol Mercer of Piketon, and a son Michael and Diana Payton of Piketon, three grandchildren, Lonnie Mercer and wife Holly, Mark Payton and Julia Payton, four great grandchildren, brother, Emerson Leist and wife Virginia of Piketon, stepson, Scott Diehl and wife Lisa, Chillicothe, Ohio and stepdaughter, Chris Knight and husband Tracy of Londonderry, Ohio. In addition to her parents a son, Mark Emerson Payton preceded Phyllis in death. Phyllis was a member of Piketon-Jasper United Methodist Church, a graduate of Ohio University, Athens, Ohio and a retired Second Grade Teacher for the Scioto Valley School District, Piketon with 35 years service. Phyllis devoted her whole life to the care and education of children. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday 25 November 2013 at the HOWE WHEELER BOYER HORNBACK Funeral Home in Piketon, with Rev. Alan Jones, officiating.
