Alvin O. DeBord, 82, of North Shore Drive, Chillicothe, Ohio died 5:30 p.m. Wednesday 4 December 2013 at his home.
He was born 17 May 1931 in Chillicothe the son of the late Delbert DeBord and Vernis R. (Tewksbury) DeBord. On 1 January 1962 he was united in marriage to H. Mae (Stauffer) DeBord, who survives.
Alvin attended Faith Chapel, Chillicothe. Alvin retired as Chillicothe Chief of Police in August 1983. He was Korean Veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday 7 December 2013 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Pastor Tom Kramer, officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Union Cemetery, Denver Road, Waverly, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
